The Area

Brackenbury Village sits between Chiswick, to its West and Notting Hill and Holland Park a 10 minute drive to the East. It offers the village feel and leafiness of Chiswick, along with the easy access to Heathrow and the country. Whilst enjoying a slightly closer proximity to central London, for those that want to combine life in a neighbourhood, with access to London’s west end.

The local park, less than 5 minutes walk away is one of London’s best. The Green Flag Award-winning Ravenscourt Park which offers two cafés, a garden centre, three playgrounds and a paddling pool for children, tennis and basketball courts, football pitches, a historic lake and much more.

On our door step, a few doors up from the house is the Brackenbury Health Clinic https://brackenburyclinic.com/, where treatments range from Accupunture, to Hypnotherapy, Nutrition,  and of course Massage. Unless, you’d rather stay at home and use our masseuse Erika who comes to the house if arranged. At the bottom of the road, you will find a deli, butcher, dry cleaner, Thai restaurant and the café Peko Mellow, whose tea is well advertised and wonderful, but in fact make the best coffee locally as well. Two gastro pubs are around the corner, the Andover Arms, at one time the top restaurant on Tripadvisor and the Anglesea Arms, just next to the park. https://www.angleseaarms.com/

Further options for shops are available on King Street, Goldhawk Road, Askew Road and Chiswick High Road. You’ll find world class shopping, dining and entertainment options at nearby Westfield – a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive. The historic pubs and walks along the River Thames are just 15 minutes from your front door, and 20 minutes away is the wonderful River Café.
